Images - All content images used in kansasforests.org include
descriptive alt attribues. Purely decorative images include a null

Printing - kansasforests.org relies on cascading style sheets
for print layout. Repetitive elements from page to page will not
be included when pages are printed. To assist readability on
physical media, fonts are converted to serif-type fonts and links are
underlined for easy identification.
Visual Design - kansasforests.org uses cascading style sheets
for visual layout. These style sheets use only relative font
sizes, which are compatible with user-specified text sizes in visual
browsers. If your browser does not support style sheets, the content
of each page should still be readable.
Portable Digital Format:
The Kansas Forest Service publishes a multitude of information, both on
paper and electronically. Most of these documents have been
faithfully reproduced to HTML web pages. However, there still may
exist some documents we have yet to find the
opportunity to reproduce to HTML. In these rare instances,
these documents are available in Portable Document Format (PDF).
Viewing PDF files requires a free plugin called Adobe Reader. You
may download Adobe Reader from
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/. If you prefer is view
PDF files as HTML, you may convert PDF files to HTML through
Access Adobe.
If an HTML page was
reproduced from an existing document, the original document may be
available in its original format as a PDF. Look for "Adobe Acrobat
