Deciduous trees are woody plants typically reaching a mature height of 15 feet or more and are single stemmed for several feet above the base. Adaptability, height, rate of growth, are some of the factors needed to be taken into account before selecting a particular species. These trees are generally used in the inner rows of windbreaks for height, providing food and cover for large animals and wildlife such as deer and turkey.
