Conservation Program Associate
Annie Cummings serves as the Conservation Program Associate, working with the Conservation Trees Program at the Kansas Forest Service. She grew up in the Wichita area and has recently moved back to her family’s 1901 Stone House in northern Pottawatomie County. Annie graduated from the University of California–Davis with a B.S. in Renewable Natural Resources with emphasis in Environmental Studies, and received her M.B.A. from Thunderbird Global School of International Management. Her professional work experience includes wilderness ranger and forestry technician with the U.S. Forest Service, environmental analyst, program director/designer/professor for natural resource programs at various community colleges, and wetland specialist/trainer for the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Annie enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor photography, hiking, reading, kayaking, and most recently – lots of home renovation projects.
