Joshua Pease has served as the Conservation Forester for Kansas Forest Service since 2002.  He is dedicated to ensuring that Kansas landowners receive the highest quality seedlings possible for conservation practices. His duties include acquisition of conservation seedlings, overseeing seedling sales, and monitoring the overall operations of Conservation Tree Planting Program.

Prior to joining Kansas Forest Service, Joshua worked for Oklahoma Forestry Services for 7 years. He started as a Senior Nursery Specialist and finished as the Nursery Manager for Oklahoma's Tree Improvement Center where work focused on improving Loblolly, Shortleaf, and Virginia pine to be better adapted to Oklahoma sites. After testing the success of the improvements, the trees that showed the greatest improvements were grafted into a seed orchard where collection of seed was performed and given to the state nursery to be grown and sold for distribution to Oklahoma landowners.

Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture-Park Resource Management from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
