Connie Robinson is a native Kansan, born and raised near Lucas, Kansas.  Connie decided to obtain a college degree later in life instead of immediately following high school. She began attending the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997, going to school part-time while working full-time. She graduated with a double degree in Forestry and Wildlife in May 2003. She worked with consulting foresters in Missouri before she began work for the Kansas Forest Service in December 2003.  Connie is a member of the Society of American Foresters and the Walnut Council.
