Aaron Williams

District Fire Management Officer

In 2018, Aaron Williams joined the Kansas Forest Service as District Fire Management Officer (DFMO) for Southwest Kansas. In 2025 Aaron moved to El Dorado to become DFMO for the Southeast District. As a DFMO, Aaron is responsible for providing wildland fire training, suppression assistance, community prevention and planning and property assessment for wildland fire risk for the communities in his district.
