Danielle Stuerman
Fire Administrative Specialist

As the Fire Administrative Specialist, Danielle tracks the Fire Program budgets, Volunteer Fire Capacity reimbursements, and suppression efforts in Kansas and nationally. She processes all national incident deployment paperwork and serves as the Kansas representative on the Western State Fire Business Managers and Rocky Mountain Incident Business Committees. Additionally, she manages the KFS Fleet and assists with various other administrative support tasks for all KFS staff. She is currently a member of the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team 3 Finance Section.
Danielle is a graduate from Kansas State University in Animal Science Production Management. She specialized in commercial sheep production, data tracking, and pasture management for many years before joining the Kansas Forest Service. She transitioned into this role after serving 3 years as the KFS Grants Specialist where she took the lead on budget, deadline, and accomplishment tracking across all KFS's programs and assisting with the Conservation Tree Sales.
