Managing Carbon Through Healthy Forests and Forest Products in the Changing Climate of the Southern Plains

A workshop focused on resilient ecosystems and economies. 
 

The forests and woodlands of the Southern Great Plains hold great promise for carbon storage in the face of climate change challenges for the region. This workshop will explore science and management recommendations for the use and demonstration of bio-based technologies and practices to enhance carbon storage in the forest and woodlands of the Southern Great Plains, within the context of climate change projections and impacts.
