Landowner Assistance Grants
Grant Overview
Kansas Forest Service has partnered with the USDA Forest Service to assist Kansas landowners in implementing important conservation practices across five broad categories:
- Forest Management & Invasive Plants
- Forest Management & Wildfire Risk
- Windbreak Establishment & Renovation
- Conservation Tree Planting
- Riparian Forest Buffer Establishment
The Kansas Forest Service has secured a limited amount of funding to assist private landowners with conservation practices that align with the categories above. This funding has a limited window, expiring in late 2029, and will likely be fully obligated in advance of that date.
