Ariel Whitely-Noll is the Communications Coordinator for the Kansas Forest Service. Ariel graduated from K-State in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in horticulture with an emphasis on greenhouse and nursery management. Prior to coming to KFS she worked as the Horticulture Agent for K-State Research and Extension in Shawnee County, where she managed the Extension Master Gardener program and creating programming focused around indoor plants, pest and disease issues and local food.
Ariel joined the Kansas Forest Service in 2022. Her job includes managing KFS social media accounts, assisting with event promotion and communicating the work and value of the agency to stakeholders and Kansans. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Agricultural Communications and Education from K-State. Outside of work, Ariel is an avid reader with a substantial houseplant collection. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jake, and their two dogs, Bindi and Ted.
