Shawna Nehls
Shawna Nehls joined the Kansas Forest Service team in July of 2021. She transferred to the KFS from across campus at the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory where she spent four years in Client Services. Shawna coordinates the administrative duties of the Conservation Tree Program and heads up the sales, allocating inventory, and customer service part of the program.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-Business from Fort Hays State University, Shawna has worked in various ag-related fields and also held positions within the medical field specializing in organ transplant. Growing up on a farm in Southwest Kansas, she is a country girl at heart and thrives on helping others. She enjoys growing flowers, kayaking with her husband, and spending time with her nine grandchildren.
